When I lived in Gore NZ as Artist-in-Residence, I was 3000 miles from home, alone, with almost no money – yet somehow I was able to get by and even have lots of fun, in spite of the several emotional whammos I went through.
I kept having these dreams of freedom – horses flying over fences, my dog and me sailing through rough waters into the light – and then this one – it pretty much says how it felt – I was on my way – but – where???
I felt completely blind to my possible future. All I could do was keep imagining myself happy, prosperous and feeling At Home, where ever I was.
I called it JOURNEY MASTER, but I was far from master of anything! Maybe it was my Higher Self!
JOURNEY MASTER was 12″ x 16″, oils on canvas (sold).
